lyrics
History
between us
snapping our fingers
in the spokes
history
between us
both crushing our skulls
in our hands
but i see no end to this
see no end to this
to this
to this
history
time crawls out from the docks
now all our doubts
lay shattered in the dust
it’s just a sign
to recall
forever just outside your reach
your history
and searching for the colour
in union
we find the other hollow
but i see no end to this
see no end to this
to this
to this
history
and time crawls out from the docks
now all our doubts
lay shattered in the dust
with the cruel hand
wipe the venom from your mouth
it’s just a sign
to recall
forever just outside your reach
your history
to be reconciled
torn apart
your two hands
to be reconciled
oh to be reconciled
Featured this album on the fourth issue of RULE of THREE (http://bit.ly/RULEofTHREEbc). Religion opens with a pseudo-mechanical drum rhythm and a thick, heavy synth bass that is quickly followed by a deceptively simple and emotive guitar line that comes back again and again with increasing effect and drama throughout the track. The vocals are “spot on” in terms of melody, hook, lyrics and overall mood - this is how it is done. Driving. Dark. Sublime. Christian Schaefer
A truly original blend of haunting electronics and gothic drama mirroring the complex and unknowable nature of human emotions. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 30, 2023
“Strangers” is packed with wonderfully menacing electro-goth—late-night horror movie music for vampire dance parties. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2023
I have listened to this album so many times I know it like the back of my hand. Yet, no matter how many times I hear it, it always seems fresh and new, which is a rare thing indeed. ghaseloff
